Field Mapper
EquipmentThe Gauss Labs Field Mapper is our own motorized measuring machine. It carries the gauss meter probe over and around an accessory and stops at each planned point to take a reading. Every reading is taken at a position and height the machine sets, not by hand, so a point measured twice lands in the same place both times. That's what lets the report map the field across the whole accessory and up through its depth layers, not just at its peak. It moves the probe along three axes (X, Y and Z) and follows a scan grid planned from the accessory's measured coil layout. See Gauss Meter and Gauss Meter Probe.
