The evidence
1 Gauss is one ten-thousandth of a Tesla, so a slew rate of 1 G/us equals 100 T/s. 1 milliTesla equals 10 Gauss, and 1 Tesla equals 10,000 Gauss. For reference, Earth's background field is about half a Gauss. These are fixed unit identities, not measurements.
