Nitric Oxide (NO)
BiologyA short-lived signaling molecule naturally produced by the body. It plays crucial roles in blood vessel relaxation, immune defense, nerve signaling, and cell-to-cell communication. When blood vessels relax, blood flow improves. This is one of the key ways the body delivers oxygen and nutrients to tissues. Research suggests PEMF exposure may increase the body's production of nitric oxide, improving local circulation and tissue oxygenation.
