Composite Waveform

Waveform
An overlay chart showing all device settings plotted together on the same time axis for direct visual comparison of pulse shapes. Each trace represents one power setting. Taller traces indicate stronger fields. Steeper leading edges indicate sharper, more effective pulses. The composite view makes it easy to spot which settings deliver the fastest rise times and highest peak fields at a glance. It also reveals how the device behaves across its full range of operation.

Some devices do not output one clean shape. A composite waveform, also called a multi-wave, is two or more simple waves added together, so the pulse the coil delivers is the sum of its parts. The report identifies the simple waves that make up the shape.
