Clinical reviews of PEMF for knee osteoarthritis report mixed results

The evidence
A 2019 systematic review and meta-analysis pooled 8 randomized controlled trials (421 patients) and found PEMF therapy beneficial for improving physical function but with no advantage in treating pain or stiffness. Parameters and protocols varied across the trials, and the authors called for further trials to establish optimal parameters. This is cited only as context for what the clinical literature currently shows; it is not a claim about any device Gauss Labs tests.
